40 years ago, music and fashion collided in an iconic, irreverent explosion of culture.
The Class of ‘76 celebrates the 40th anniversary of punk rock with an immersive mixed media experience, highlighting the first wave of bands to lead rock’s last great rebellion.
After a phenomenal response in London and Manchester, The Class of '76 is ready to hit the streets of Brighton, where venues such as the Vault have long since left their mark on Britain’s punk history.
This Saturday 26th November we opened The Class of ‘76 to the public, transporting everyone in the gallery back to a time when music was loud, fashion was wild and anarchy was in the UK.
Mal-One’s artwork is a colourful celebration of this explosively influential movement, featuring legendary punk rock pioneers such as the Sex Pistols, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Clash, The Damned, The Stranglers and The Buzzcocks.
The exhibition will be at the Bozboz gallery, 30 Richmond Place, Brighton, BN2 9NA until February 2017. For all sales enquiries and to arrange a private viewing please contact Lee Lim at gallery@bozboz.co.uk or call 01273 727581.
